In-Network Insurance

If you are using insurance, your cost per session will depend on your specific plan (co-pay, co-insurance, and deductible status). Please contact the member services number on the back of your insurance card for the most accurate, up-to-date information. Insurance typically covers standard 55-minute therapy sessions.

I am in-network in Washington State with:

  • Premera Blue Cross of Washington
  • LifeWise
  • Regence Blue Shield of Washington
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • First Choice Health, including Kaiser Permanente Access PPO & MultiCare

Do you take other insurance plans not listed above?

Yes, if your plan is not listed above, but reimburses for out-of-network providers.  For private-pay clients using out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill upon request.

Understanding Out-of-Network Insurance Coverage

If you are considering using out-of-network benefits, it can be helpful to contact your insurance provider directly. Plans vary widely, and member services can clarify what your specific coverage includes.

When you call, you may want to ask:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
  • What portion of the session fee is typically reimbursed?
  • Do I have an out-of-network deductible, and has it been met?
  • What is the process for submitting claims for reimbursement?

Payment & Billing

  • Payment is due at the time of service
  • Accepted forms of payment include credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA cards
  • For private-pay clients using out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill upon request

Good Faith Estimate

If you are a private-pay client (not using in-network insurance benefits), you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of services, in accordance with federal law. Before services begin, I will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate.

Complimentary 15-minute video consultations are available for new clients
